Os objetivos desta investigação consistem em analisar se existem diferenças significativas entre as aptidões em função do sexo (rapazes e raparigas); analisar se as aptidões escolares são influenciadas pela idade; analisar se existem diferenças significativas entre os diferentes anos letivos; analisar se as aptidões escolares são influenciadas pelo trimestre de nascimento; e analisar se as aptidões variam em função do estabelecimento de ensino. A metodologia seguiu as regras do instrumento escolhido para avaliar a maturidade escolar. Nesta investigação participaram 92 crianças e obtiveram-se diversos resultados relevantes. Concluímos que os participantes deste estudo se encontram com um bom desenvolvimento das aptidões básicas envolvidas na aprendizagem escolar. / The objectives of this research consist in analyzing whether there are significant differences between skills based on gender (boys and girls); if school skills are influenced by age; if there are significant differences between different school years; if school skills are influenced by the birth quarter; and analyze if the skills differ between schools. The methodology followed the instrument rules to evaluate school maturity. 92 children participated in this investigation and several relevant results were obtained. We conclude that the participants of this study have a good development of the basic skills involved in school learning.
