dc.description.abstractA religião é tema presente nas organizações, porém vem sendo explorado de forma periférica combinado a outros temas nos estudos organizacionais. Tal postura tem dificultado a consecução de pesquisas que busquem compreender como a religião se expressam na cultura organizacional. Este estudo procurou analisar as formas pelas quais a religião se expressa em uma instituição de ensino superior da cidade de Fortaleza/CE. A fundamentação teórica se alicerça na cultura organizacional, que se constrói e se modifica por meio da interação entre funcionários, e entre funcionários e organização. A abordagem metodológica foi qualitativa e utilizou-se a coleta durante o período de 2017 a 2019. A pesquisa mostrou que a instituição declara sua religião por meio de símbolos religiosos e ritos institucionais. / Religion is a subject present in organizations but has been peripherally explored in combination with other subjects in organizational studies. That has made it difficult to conduct researches that seek to understand how it is expressed in organizational culture. This study sought to analyze the ways in which religion is expressed in a higher education institution in the city of Fortaleza / CE. The theoretical foundation is based on the organizational culture, which is built and modified through the interaction between employees, and between employees and organization. The methodological approach was qualitative and data was collected from 2017 to 2019. The research showed that the organization declares it’s religion by religious through religious symbols and institutional rites.pt_PT
