| dc.description.abstract | O presente estudo pretende analisar a relação entre a Perturbação de Stress Pós-Traumático (PSPT) e a Rede Social Pessoal, no caso específico das mulheres vítimas de violência conjugal. Método: Trata-se de uma investigação não experimental, desenvolvida com uma amostra não probabilística (de conveniência), formada por 63 mulheres vítimas de violência conjugal (residentes em casas-abrigo), em Portugal. Resultados e conclusões: A PSPT parece não se associar às características estruturais, nem às características funcionais e atributos do vínculo, da rede social pessoal. As mulheres vítimas de violência conjugal que se encontram em instituições de acolhimento, independentemente de terem ou não PSPT, apresentam redes de tamanho reduzido e coesas, focalizadas no quadrante familiar. | The present study intends to analyze the relationship between Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and the Personal Social Network, in the specific case of women victims of domestic violence. Method: This is a non-experimental investigation, developed with a non-probabilistic (convenience) sample, formed by 63 women victims of domestic violence (residents in shelters), in Portugal. Results and conclusions: PTSD does not seem to be associated with the structural characteristics, nor with the functional characteristics and attributes of the bond, of the personal social network. Women victims of domestic violence who are in shelter institutions, regardless of whether they have PTSD or not, have small and cohesive networks, focused on the family quadrant. | |
