Resumo
Faz-se uma abordagem preliminar do estado actual da formação em Serviço Social, incidindo sobre três questões que atravessam a actual conjuntura do ensino superior em Portugal: o crescimento e desenvolvimento da formação em Serviço Social nas duas últimas décadas; as relações actuais do ensino público e privado na formação em Serviço Social e por último, a relação entre crescimento, desenvolvimento e qualidade face à desregulamentação que tem pautado esta formação. / A preliminary approach is made to the current state of training in Social Work, focusing on three issues that cross the current situation of higher education in Portugal: the growth and development of training in Social Work in the last two decades; the current relationships between public and private education in training in Social Work and, finally, the relationship between growth, development and quality in face of the deregulation that has guided this training.
